As Chief Executive Officer of Champion Contractors, Mr. Kirby A. Vogler is responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational execution, and long-term growth of the organization. He provides executive oversight for the Company’s operations, production, finance, risk management, compliance, business development, and corporate strategy while leading Champion’s continued expansion as a national provider of commercial roofing, building envelope, and large-loss disaster recovery services. Under his leadership, the Company has grown into a multi-state commercial contractor serving institutional, industrial, healthcare, educational, government, and commercial real estate clients throughout the United States.
Mr. Vogler’s leadership philosophy is rooted in disciplined operational management, financial stewardship, and a strong focus on protecting customer assets. He has led the development of Champion’s scalable operating platform, emphasizing safety, quality, rapid disaster response, disciplined project execution, and long-term customer relationships. His experience spans executive leadership, corporate finance, real estate asset management, construction operations, legal risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational development, enabling him to align operational performance with long-term shareholder value.
Prior to founding and leading Champion, Mr. Vogler served as Assistant Vice President with Northland Investment Corporation, a multi-billion-dollar commercial real estate investment, development, and asset management firm. In that role, he was responsible for protecting and enhancing the value of a nationwide commercial real estate portfolio through acquisitions, due diligence, capital planning, rehabilitation, repositioning, asset preservation, and dispositions. Working closely with executive leadership, he developed a comprehensive understanding of commercial property ownership, capital investment strategies, lifecycle asset management, and the financial drivers that influence long-term property performance.
This ownership perspective continues to shape Champion’s approach today. Rather than viewing roofing as a standalone construction trade, Mr. Vogler has positioned the Company as an asset preservation partner focused on extending building life, reducing operational risk, protecting tenant occupancy, and maximizing long-term property value. Champion’s services are designed to help owners make informed capital planning decisions while minimizing disruption and preserving the integrity of complex commercial facilities.
Mr. Vogler earned a Juris Master degree from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, with an emphasis in corporate, regulatory, and legal risk management, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston. His educational background complements his executive experience by providing a practical understanding of corporate governance, contractual risk allocation, regulatory compliance, and business strategy.
Throughout his career, Mr. Vogler has maintained active involvement within the commercial real estate, construction, and property management industries. He has served on numerous national and regional boards, advisory committees, and industry organizations, including the United Association of Storm Restoration Contractors (UASRC), the National Sub-Metering Utility Allocation Association (NSUAA), the National Apartment Association (NAA), the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and various regional property owner and commercial real estate associations.
Mr. Vogler is a member of the American Bar Association and an Associate Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), reflecting his commitment to the legal, engineering, and technical disciplines that influence modern commercial construction and risk management. He also maintains oversight of Champion’s nationwide contractor licensing and regulatory compliance programs, ensuring the Company operates in accordance with the licensing, registration, and compliance requirements of the jurisdictions in which it performs work across the United States.
Mr. Vogler is widely recognized for his expertise in commercial roofing, large-loss disaster recovery, building envelope systems, and the intersection of construction, legal risk, insurance, and commercial real estate.
