Ken Ross serves as Vice President of Operations – Western Region for Champion Contractors & Services, where he oversees operational execution, project delivery, customer satisfaction, and regional growth throughout the western United States. With more than 43 years of experience in commercial roofing, Ken brings a rare combination of field expertise, operational leadership, and executive management to Champion’s expanding national platform.
Ken began his career working in the field as a roofing crew leader, developing firsthand expertise in commercial roofing installation, productivity, safety, quality control, and project execution. His operational foundation provided the experience necessary to successfully transition into leadership positions overseeing increasingly complex organizations and multi-state operations.
In 2004, Ken relocated to California’s Bay Area to establish and lead a new commercial roofing branch from the ground up. He recruited the organization, developed customer relationships, built operational systems, and successfully grew the office into a business exceeding $10 million in annual revenue. His success led to expanded executive responsibilities overseeing West Coast operations generating more than $30 million annually while managing strategic customer portfolios representing approximately $80 million in recurring business.
Throughout his career, Ken has earned a reputation for building high-performing teams, developing future leaders, strengthening customer relationships, and creating operational discipline that consistently delivers quality results. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement while maintaining a relentless focus on customer service and execution.
At Champion, Ken is responsible for supporting operational excellence across the Company’s western markets, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and at the highest level of quality while helping scale Champion’s national operating platform to meet the needs of institutional, industrial, and commercial property owners.
