Bernie Wilson serves as Executive Director of Sales at Champion Commercial Roofing, where he leads a team focused on the company’s relationships with large institutional clients, including property management companies, national portfolio owners, industrial operators, and multi-site commercial platforms across the United States.
Under Bernie’s leadership, his team engages institutional customers across their reroofing, specialized facility care, and storm-response needs, with an emphasis on long-term program management and enterprise-level account stewardship. The group operates as an extension of each client’s own facilities and real-estate function — bringing a disciplined communication cadence, senior oversight, and a repeatable delivery model that scales with the client’s footprint.
Bernie brings more than 15 years of experience across senior executive and leadership roles in large, national financial services organizations. Prior to Champion, he held leadership positions at Advent Financial, H&R Block, American Express, and Merrill Lynch. In these roles, Bernie led strategy and implementation for multiple innovation and process improvement efforts and organized the development of nationally scalable solutions.
Bernie holds a BA in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and is active in the commercial construction and roofing community. He is a member of the Property Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB) Affiliate Board.
Prior to joining Champion, Mr. Wilson served in various senior executive and leadership roles with Advent Financial Services, H&R Block, American Express and Merrill Lynch where he had primary responsibility for implementing company strategies and managing consumer financial services and business units.
